Erica Campanella was born in Milan on 7 September 1974. She lives and works in the province of Milan. She graduated in painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Her work ranges between painting, restoration and art teaching but it is with photography that she manages to create a world full of senses made of intimate beauty and vulnerability. In the photos of Erica Campanella the mysterious and eternal influence of memory is captured through the story of bodies, which, released from their taboos, are revealed and find their place of existence over time. The legs, the backs and the hands are discovered vital lymph of emotions, of gestures, they show a romantic character tied between eros and kindness. Bodies bordering between transgression and purity, between presence and absence are accompanied in the invisible places of collective memory through a hidden filter full of memories....
