Matteo Lucca was born in Forlì, Italy in 1980, graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and began his artistic career and research in the late ‘90s, participating in art events, as well as collective and personal exhibitions, art fairs and always receiving positive critique. His art was presented at the 47Th edition of the Premio Campigna in Santa Sofia (Italy), the “Germine Musce” exhibition in Forlì (Italy), Art Verona, Artefiera Bologna, Biennale of Roncaglia and the international sculpture exhibition OPEN12, curated in Venice by Massimo Pulini. In 2004 he won first place in the “La Vita Intesa Come Rinascita” art contest, held by the A.U.S.L. in Ferrara, for creating a bronze installation for the gardens of Bondeno Hospital (FE). In 2007 he produced a group of sculptures dedicated to the blood donors of A.V.I.S., which is now located within the grounds of the Pierantoni Hospital in Forlì (Italy).
