Description

“2015” is a copper chair from the amazing limited edition design project “War Chairs” by the creators’ duo OKB..SPK, a true and original example of sustainable and collectible design. The iron frame was recovered from a second-hand dealer and later copper-coated, hand-polished and painted with an antioxidant, transparent paint. This art chair frame is in copper (symbol of the contemporary “new gold”) while the seat is newly hand-caned by a long-time skilled chair mender and later burnt, as further sign of a perfect fusion among traditional and contemporary.
